Cractation Bars: LACTATION Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 TBS molasses
1 Tbs vanilla
2 cups butterscotch or chocolate chips
2 1/2 cups oats
1/4 cup of brewer's yeast (must be brewer's)
1/4 cup of flaxseed meal or ground flax seeds
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Brown butter on stovetop first.
Transfer butter to upright mixer and cream together with sugar.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each.
Add in molasses and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine oats, flax, brewers yeast, flour, soda, and salt.
Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Stir in butterscotch or chocolate chips.
Spread batter in buttered 13x9 pan.
Bake at 350 for 28-32 minutes.

We’ve updated the recipe to add 1 tsp of baking soda. Thanks for the catch!
In looking at the Cractation Bars, the directions mention to add “soda” but the list of ingredients does not include soda. Please clarify. Looking forward to making these bars for my daughter.
