Whether you're a nursing mama looking for a boost or just want a wholesome, energy-packed snack, these bars are perfect for you.

Why These Ingredients?

Oats: Rich in iron and fiber, oats are one of the most popular galactagogues for supporting lactation.
Brewer's Yeast: A nutritional powerhouse packed with B vitamins, iron, and protein.
Flaxseed Meal: Contains omega-3 fatty acids and lignans that may support hormone balance.
Coconut Oil: Provides healthy fats and medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) for sustained energy.

Cractation Bars Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
  • 5 tablespoons brewer's yeast
  • 3 tablespoons ground flaxseed meal
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup coconut oil, melted (or butter)
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts, dried fruit, or shredded coconut

Instructions:

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine oats, flour, brewer's yeast, flaxseed meal, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir well.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil, brown sugar, honey, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and well combined.
  4. Combine: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips (and any optional add-ins).
  5. Bake: Press the mixture evenly into your prepared pan. Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  6. Cool & Cut: Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares. This helps them hold together better!

Storage Tips
