If you plan on pumping, it is a lot easier if you have a bra that is made for hands-free pumping. That way you don't have to take off your shirt to nurse and it will hold your pump in place.

This is the bra that you will wear when you're out and will be the most supportive. Be sure to choose one that is comfortable to wear under everything, from a t-shirt to a dress. You'll want to stay away from underwire unless breastfeeding is well established. Good brands have other methods to still be supportive, such as flexi-wire.
