        Great concept, poor execution

I love the concept of this dress, however the execution of it leaves much to be desired. I ordered the largest size possible and was surprised at how fitted it actually is. Sure it is a bit loose for now, but I'm not sure it'll last through my pregnancy. The buttons on the chest area, pictured on the model, hit her much lower than on me and so it is actually quite difficult to breastfeed in this dress, which was the whole purpose of my buying it. I figured this was perhaps because I am tall, however the length of the length of the dress is as pictured and the pockets actually hit so low on my thighs that I cannot reach them easily; another bummer, as I love pockets. The material is also quite sheer and lightweight, which I guess could be good in the summertime, although dark colours attract hea. As it is winter currently, I'm finding I am rather cold in this dress, so I'm not too sure which season this is aimed at. The fabric is quite unstructured, soft and sheer. I've had shirts in this type of fabric before and they quickly grow to be outstretched and very sheer, which I don't like. I'm not sure how this dress will hold up over time, given that it is already quite sheer, which is not the look I was going for and also limits my actually being able to wear this dress anywhere but at home, again not quite what I was hoping for. This dress has great potential, but falls short in delivering what was promised, especially in regards to breastfeeding.

        Soft and comfy

The dress is very soft and comfy. Feels really nice on. I do wish it came in like an extra small as I’m quite petite even when pregnant so it kind of drowns me. But overall I would recommend it to others. I think it will be perfect to lounge in post baby.

        Gift for daughter

I bought this for my daughter to wear at home after the birth of her baby. It was soft, comfortable and great for nursing!

I gave this house dress 2 star only!!!

I gave this house dress 2 stars only but somehow it put it at 5 stars! I’m 37 weeks pregnant and I ordered the xxl and it was snug to my body and short not at all like the picture! I’m disappointed I thought it would fit loosely like the picture also I’m only 5 foot 2 so why is this short above my knees?? Haven’t even washed it yet. I would hate for it too shrink.

Hi. That doesn't sound right. We are messaging you privately to see what we can do to help and fix this issue! Thanks!

        comfy and stylish

I bought this specifically for my hospital go-bag, so I tried it on at 36 weeks pregnant (it looked great - similar to the fit on the model) and washed it (it washed & dried well), but it's been sitting in the duffle bag since then, waiting for the big day (coming very soon!). This will be my 2nd child, so I know what to expect, and I think this will be the perfect post-delivery garment - it doesn't look so much like PJs that I'll feel good about walking down the hall (or home - I live in Brooklyn around the corner from my hospital) in it. It's also amenable to nurses and doctors coming into the recovery room at all hours to push on my uterus and do other recovery-related check-ups (the tight yoga pants I packed for my first were not so great for this). I can imagine living in this during the baby's first few weeks when we're mostly housebound, the belly is still present, and breastfeeding is less predictable and round the clock. I think my favorite thing about it is the style - it looks like a version of a dress I might buy when not pregnant/postpartum. It's not ruched or precious or pink like so many maternity/nursing nightgowns. Glad to have found this!
