I bought this specifically for my hospital go-bag, so I tried it on at 36 weeks pregnant (it looked great - similar to the fit on the model) and washed it (it washed & dried well), but it's been sitting in the duffle bag since then, waiting for the big day (coming very soon!). This will be my 2nd child, so I know what to expect, and I think this will be the perfect post-delivery garment - it doesn't look so much like PJs that I'll feel good about walking down the hall (or home - I live in Brooklyn around the corner from my hospital) in it. It's also amenable to nurses and doctors coming into the recovery room at all hours to push on my uterus and do other recovery-related check-ups (the tight yoga pants I packed for my first were not so great for this). I can imagine living in this during the baby's first few weeks when we're mostly housebound, the belly is still present, and breastfeeding is less predictable and round the clock. I think my favorite thing about it is the style - it looks like a version of a dress I might buy when not pregnant/postpartum. It's not ruched or precious or pink like so many maternity/nursing nightgowns. Glad to have found this!
