We ordered this pretty gown for our daughter-in-law. She did not wear the gown during labor (her hospital gown was changed a couple of times) but she wore the gown the next day and absolutely loved it. The new mom commented that the material was quality, it fit well, and having a gown/dress to move around in was much better than pants of any kind. And the new mom said that it helped her nurse because her newborn son even fit into the top of gown acting as kind of a cloth cradle. She loved this gown and said she may even wear at home after the hospital. Thanks mile & baby!
Plenty of room (I got a size small), and well made with nice thick fabric. I haven’t used it in labor so I can’t say much more than that, but I’m looking forward to avoiding the dreaded hospital gown!
Bought this for my own labor and delivery because I'm stubborn and don't want to wear the hospital gown. For some reason pockets and a securely closed back are important to me. It's well made. Haven't worn it besides when I tried it on. I usually wear a size medium but I went with the size guidelines and ordered a large. It fits, but I'd guess the medium would have fit, too.
I bought this for my niece who is due to deliver next month. I love the easy access for skin to skin contact after delivery as well as the snap closures down the back allowing for epidural if mom desires. The jersey material is also soft for both mom and baby and I find comforting. As a midwife I think she’ll be not only comfortable but look as stylish as one can in labor and not have a cumbersome hospital gown that is laundered for repeated patients.
I’m so glad I had this at the hospital, I felt much more comfortable wearing this instead of a hospital gown and I ended up wearing it the day after delivery as well. It was easy to nurse in and when I had visitors I felt way more presentable. Definitely recommend!
